Hi Katinka and all of you,

Thanks for your kind answer.

My Sufilight view:
That is also what I think.
I agree. And yes the same Dzyan Stanzas from where the Secret Doctrine and
Voice of Silence are taken contains at least elements of this. But
Blavatskys teachings has clouded this to some of the more ignorant readers.
Yes the Bowen notes also has something to say on the issue.

Some of the biggest problems at Blavatskys time was the issues "authority"
and "use of belief and the "discarding of knowledge in support of belief". I
think Daniel Caldwell has some papers on his website - taken from
Blavatskys - Esoteric Section, that shows some of this - if you read between
the lines.
Today things have changed somewhat.
The word "authority" has another meaning and people relate to it differently
than they did year 1888-1891 or so. The use of "belief" is not done in the
same manner as it is today.
People are infact more mentally developed. Yet they still, today, poeple
have a strong tendency to believe they "know" something even if it is only a
"belief".

If I gave you a name on the writer behind the text, what good would it do
you and others on this list ?
I could have reasons to keep the writers name out of this.
Please answer that first.
