Dear Wry,

I have been closely following your interplay on this list. A short time
ago you posed a question on the Root Races and the value of knowledge of
such subjects. After a few days you came back with a second post, upset
that no one had yet responded. I then e-mailed a reply as did several
others. Now it seems you have simply blown us off! Or is it that our
replies simply reinforces your understanding that such study is of little
worth?

Why does it supprise you Wry, that on a list dedicated to the teachings
of Theosophy as put forth by HPB, there are actually believing
Theosophists who fearlessly discuss these teachings as they do? Would you
walk in to a Roman Catholic church during mass, walk up to the front ,
turn around and then boldly announce "what you people are doing is a
bunch of crap and what you should be doing is such and such?" But since
this is an unmonitored list, I quess you feel that anything goes. Leon
had posed some good questions to you. I hope you respond. Just tearing
down without offering viable alternatives is next to useless. 

I have nothing against an honest critic posing objections to the
teachings, for answering them tends to keep us sharp. But you give hint
after hint of things with "i won't go into it now" Why not pick one
point, go into it in debth, await replies and then respond to them. This
is the same problem we had with Bri. She would make accusations, Daniel
or someone else would reply with facts and questions and he/she would
ignore them and simply plunge on with a new set of accusations. We don't
need more of that. 

I do believe you have something to say to us. All I ask is that you do so
in a manner that facilitates proper discussion.
