Morten, No, I had not heard of the Freiberg Duck but it is a neat story. Sounds like the Duck had previous exposure and adopted a survival adaption symbiotic to people. Sorry to hear the poor creature was a casaulty of the War, it truly deserves a Medal and Plaque. John
