True, even a broken clock is right twice a day. But Karl Marx, in
particular, said many things which sound like they make sense, but fall
apart when brought to scrutiny, making any quote from him suspect.
As far as Jesus goes, much of his advice was complete rejection of the
material; if you are a slave, obey what your master says, rather than
revolt. Or, even if you have a beam in your own eye, if you see a
splinter in your brother's eye, and don't tell him about it, he may well
go blind.
