Thank you Daniel for pointing me towards your research paper, which I found
very interesting. I found your view that Volume III was HPB's original
Volume I quite convincing, indeed I would be totally convinced were it not
for the statement by G.R.S. Mead, who was her secretary for the last two
years of her life. However, in that capacity, he must have seen the genuine
volume 3 if it did exist, If he had seen it then why did he not mention it
? If it did not exist why did he not mention that especially as many
people, including HPB herself, aver that it did indeed exist.

A mystery indeed !
