Dear Gopi:
Would it be fair to say that “discernment” invokes the power of
strict attention and perception, while the power to Judge
(judgment) invokes the ability to compare any memory, of any
event or system, or possible method with all the information
available on actual events and performance (i.e.: LAW)?
One is creative and constructive, the other is retrospectively
analytical and comparative’ and the basis for accurate
comparison ought to be with some universal norms or facts. The
problem is to secure such a universal basis and to be able to use
it without any prejudice or bias of a personal nature.

Louis,
Could you please tell me, in your opinion, is there any
difference between judgment and discernment? Is what is it?
Thank you
Gopi
