Jerry on KH & M & Johnson & Cranston

Jerry,

Thanks for your post BELOW.

My statement may be "nasty" but it is factual. See
the examples I give in my essay to illustrate this
point. Some of your points to Dallas may appear
"nasty" too but I assume you believe your statements
are ALSO factual and accurate.

I admire Cranston? I'm glad you know what I really
think and feel on various subjects!! You amaze me!
:)

Cranston(Anita Atkins) was a very kind, sincere and
friendly person. But I'm sure Paul Johnson is a
sincere and friendly person. I've heard thru the
grapevine that Paul is a nice guy.

But what does admiration or lack of admiration for
Cranston or Paul have to do with the specific
historical points of criticism?

Cranston's book on HPB can be faulted in many ways
similar to Johnson's books. She omits important
relevant information just as Johnson does. There are
also many statements in her book which are inaccurate
just as in Johnson's books. etc.

All in all, I don't see Johnson's books any more or
less "scholarly" than Cranston's. All have good and
bad points. This was also my estimate of Jean Overton
Fuller's bio on HPB (see THEOSOPHICAL HISTORY)

I don't know what the real names of these Masters
were.
But my position is very similar to Johnson's view of
Otton Liatto. Johnson could not historically confirm
that Ooton Liatto was the name of a real historical
person yet Johnson believed Ooton Liatto was a REAL
ADEPT and visited Olcott in New York.
