When I was in college in the mid 70's, we used to play 
a game called "Dungeons & Dragons". Every player played a 
character in what resembled a medieval fantasy novel. 

There was one type of character called the "Idiot". The 
idea was that you took a village idiot, and, when confronting 
the evil wizard, you would throw the idiot in front of the 
wizard, and the idiot would do or say something so incredibly 
idiotic that the wizard would take his magic staff, and break 
it over his own head.

So, who threw you in front of us?
