Dear Gene:
PRIMORDIAL DIVISIONS OF 7 IN MANIFESTATION
You are right that the 7 primary planes are further sub-divided
into 7 (making 7 x 7 = 49) and I would add that that relates
only to symbolism relative to a PLANE SQUARE.
LINE -- PLANE -- VOLUME
If a solid were to be considered then it would be 7 x 7 x 7 =
343. And we are given no details that I could find about the
attributes specifically of any one of the 49 or the 343. My
guess is that students as they study the psychology of Theosophy
(and we are just at the opening pages) will be able eventually to
offer accurate and meaningful name and classifications -- and
additionally be able to provide the necessary logic that leads
from primordial metaphysics to some form. In saying this I wish
to imply that "forms" tend to limit, and often are embraced and
the FORMLESS ORIGINS are forgotten or neglected. To deal with
formless IDEAS is also very difficult, and one needs a sound
grounding in the original classifications of the PRINCIPLES
I find that there are 3 TABLES in the KEY TO THEOSOPHY that are
helpful in this ( pp. 9102, 134-6 , 175-6 and the explanations
accompanying them.
You will also find useful tables in the S.D. ( see pp. S.D. II
632-3, 596, I 157, 200, 240-46, 177-84, 226-7 -- and there are
many more that are most important.)
Hope these are of help to you, if not then ask me further and I
will try to help.
Best wishes,
Dal

Dallas,
This is an extract of your wonderfully clear and well written
material. I
am sincere in this compliment. In it you mention seven planes.
Please
give me, briefly, your understanding of the seven planes. Also,
I
understand that each plane has seven subplanes. To me the most
important
subplanes to discuss are the seven subplanes of the Manasic plane
which you
seem to have have clarified and given in three divisions as
higher, lower
and detached.
Anxious,
Eugene
