Dear Friend:

According to THE SECRET DOCTRINE, the last "souls" to incarnate
in the human family for the first time did so a very long time
ago.

Each period of manifestation sees the entry of "new souls" into
the human family in a way similar to the formation of the 1st
class in an educational institution. They come in from an
earlier set of educational experiences. And so on and no. As
when we "graduate" from all we can learn in our Earth situation
we will, along with others, pass on to some higher form of
learning. We are never alone.

Theosophy also teaches that the 7-fold constitution of man and
nature implies that at all time the "soul" (which is another word
for the "MIND") is always linked to its universal parent the
SPIRIT. It also teaches that the SOUL is allied to the eternal
Monad (ATMA/BUDDHI or SPIRIT/MATTER) -- so MIND is as old as
SPIRIT or MATTER and all three are eternally united as the basis
for intelligence and consciousness in every being.

You will find these matters are well covered in THE KEY TO
THEOSOPHY (either the book or "on-line" through BLAVATSKY.NET).
It is important, if you are going to seriously investigate the
teachings, logic and doctrine of Theosophy, to become familiar
with its basic teachings and vocabulary (for ease and accuracy of
exchanges).

If one desires a chain that links most concepts we could state
that the first elements of intelligence are in the 3 sub-mineral
realms (named by some the "elementals), then the condition of
learning passes to experiences in various kingdoms of Nature --
the mineral, vegetable, animal, human and then a number of stages
we can only designate as super-human as we have no means yet of
defining them accurately.

I do not see how the designation "virgin" applies. Do explain,
please.

Best wishes,

Dallas

Good Evening, Dallas could you comment on understanding one's own
progress?
Also, why would there be no virgin souls traveling through the
material
universe? It is a pleasure reading your answers. Anyone else is
also welcome
to give their answer. Love~ anathematize
(A virgin Soul would be a soul incarnating at this time, but a
soul which
has not ever reincarnated previously.)
