Charles!: You have pretty much stated the case fairly and balanced. I
have been a vegetarian the past 54 years shortly after being discharged
from the army. My reason was for the same reasons you stated. As for how
we treat others the issue is the same for meat eaters or non meat
eaters. We all have to minimize our personal desires and give more
concern to the feelings of others man or non man and our duty to all
life. In the meanwhile I may share these views with other if they seem
interested but never impose it on others whether family or friends. Each
of us must discover our own path and act in accordance of our inner
convictions.
