Dear Bart,
Having lived in New York for a number of years, I, too, feel that Murray the
K, will always be "the K." I have some of "his work" here, which I enjoy,
now & then. But please: "K" is not "the K"!
I guess you haven't read my book. It gives what I (& an increasing number of
others, who have read it) think is definitive evidence for the fact that K
absolutely NEVER rejected being "the vehicle for the World Teacher." Ten
days before he died, he reiterated the fact that he was, in no uncertain
terms. I provide numerous references, throughout his life, in which he says
the same, in the 1910s, 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, & 1980s.
I'm afraid you're simply repeating the old bromides, based on rumor &
innuendo, promoted by people who made the very wrong assumption that it is
not possible to speak about these things by making reference to facts &
evidence. Up till now, everyone has made the mistaken assumption that ANYONE
can talk & opine about these things, without worrying about having to prove
anything, because there is no such proof. Think again.
Love those oldies but goodies!
