truths go,
the Secret Doctrine, per se, was written, and the "Secrets" given out,
solely
to solve the problems of the world created in these last few centuries --
which will culminate, if we can't prevent it, in the possible destruction of
human civilization as well as the Earth itself before the end of the next
century.  To think that this is just another "passing phase", and that the
actions of human beings that could destroy ourselves and our home in a few
hundred years as "Nothing" -- not only shows a complete misunderstanding of

Truths and the Objects -- but also shows a sad lack of concern for what is
essentially a matter of life and death for the entire human race at this

O.K. "Nothing" is the wrong word to use.  100 years in 18,00,000 doesn't
seem much.  "The Eternity of the Pilgrim" (the Monad) is like a wink of the
Eye of Self-Existence.  100 years seems even less.  And yet when we think
that the Masters looked for 100 years for a suitable western body, i.e. HPB,
that does seem remarkable.

Leon, the internet is just a passing phase.
In ISIS UNVEILED, vol. I, Chapter V, page 125 onwards, HPB mentions about
"Another of the most startling of recent discoveries" the telephone, etc.
But  she also goes to Ancient Egypt, and also to: "The thaumaturgists of all
periods, schools, and countries, produced their wonders, because they were
perfectly familiar with the imponderable -- in their effects -- but
otherwise perfectly tangible waves of the astral light. They controlled the
currents by guiding them with their will-power."

"Thus, in the presence of such wonderful discoveries of our age, and the
further magical possibilities lying latent and yet undiscovered in the
boundless realm of nature, and further, in view of the great probability
that Edison's Force and Professor Graham Bell's Telephone may unsettle, if
not utterly upset all our ideas of the imponderable fluids, would it not be
well for such persons as may be tempted to traverse our statements, to wait
and see whether they will be corroborated or refuted by further
discoveries."

Do you really feel the MASTERS and HPB were pointing to the Internet (as
being an extension of the telephone), or were they pointing in quite a
different direction?  Why did the Masters NOT write the Mahatma Letters,
but, for example:

"...be employed by his 'Master' as a sort of *psychic printing machine*
producing lithographed or psychographed impressions of what the operator had
in mind; his nerve-system, the machine, his nerve-aura the printing fluid,
the colours drawn from the exhaustless store-house of pigments (as of
everything else) the Akasa."
Weren't they pointing to another way forward, different to that we chose at
the end of the 19th century?

When you write about the end of the planet, etc. - NO WAY!

The first object:
To form THE nucleus of A Universal Brotherhood of Man without distinction of
race, colour, sex, or creed.

The first object speaks volumes and is an on-going meditation in itself.

Planet Earth is a tiny speck, and this robust tiny speck isn't about to
destroy itself, or get destroyed by us humans.  The planet is a living
entity, and part of the solar system, and as we depend on the other planets,
they also depend on us.  Blasting our way to space, and to the physical
bodies of the planets, is hardly the way of the 5th race is it, while
millions upon millions on this planet are still in pain and suffering?  What
has space flight or the internet really offered when comparing it to what
the the thaumaturgists could have offered if allowed?  You said we were
1,000,000 years behind.

"As above, so below."  Venus is our sister planet, and the sign of Venus
reversed is that of the Earth.  "Point out the way as does the evening
star..."  We are inextricably linked with Venus, and also linked with the
rest of the solar system, which is just a tiny speck in the Universe.
