Thank you Dallas for your reply.  I'm not sure physicists would agree that 
the atom escapes the Second Law of Thermodynamics(it is a law, not a theory).
I am a newcomer to theosophy and am looking forward to the answers to the 
questions you say it solves.  What little bit of reading I've done so far is 
frustrating since the authors seem to be starting in the middle and then do 
theos-speak which sounds like arcane chatter to a neophyte.
I 'm still looking for a primer that begins from zero and carefully develops 
answers based upon verifiable evidence or compelling logic.  If you know of 
such a work I would sure appreciate the reference.
