Yes, I have experienced the same! And you can too. Just go to
Daytona Beach in Florida. If you drag your feet or your hands
over the sand it will produce sounds for you. I have been in
dozens of beaches in different countries and this is the first
musical sand I have encountered in my life. It certainly looks
like regular sand to me, similar to many white and thinly
grounded sand I have seen before in Caribean beaches. However,
at Daytona Beach, the sand will make sounds for you!
