Difficlut terms in Secret doctorine? Try some Tibetian ones....

HPB gave a partial tibetian version of the first stanza of Dyzan
on p23 of the Secret Doctorine. One might think that this
version today serves no more to improve our understanding today
than it did 109 years ago. This is not the case. If we study
these passages (mere phrases, actually) we find that they can
provide some insight to the stansas as presented later in
"Secret Doctorine".

One difficulty one runs into is that, in addition to the Tibetian
terms (for which there was no standard english transliteration at
the time) HPB inserted english words into the text. Another lies
in the fact that HPB appears to have attempted to distinguish, in
at least one case, between similar but dificult terms
(specificlly: Tho-ag and Tho-og.) This combination makes accurate
translation difficult, but not impossible, as the below terms
show.
