"The Theosophical Community" forum is closing down

Dear friends

I just got the following message today:

The Theosophical Community
"In May of 2008, The Theosophical Community was opened up to the public and has stood for four years as a place for Theosophists of all stripes, regardless of organizational affiliation or lack thereof. The years have seen their ups and downs, their ebbs and flows, but overall the site has been a favorite place for some to congregate online to discuss Theosophy and related subjects.

However, this announcement is to let all members of The Theosophical Community know that as of August 11h, 2012, the site will be shut down.

You can still interact with the TSA and others at the TSA Facebook Page. You may also be interested in some of our Online Programs, including virtual classes and webinars.

The former moderator of this site has opened a new site, Theosophy Nexus, from which the Secret Doctrine Study Group originally begun here will be continued along with other groups and discussions.

Visit The Theosophical Community at: http://theosophical.ning.com/?xg_source=msg_mes_network";

I thank the group behind the forum for this email. Nice to know about it.
Now about Theosophy Nexus Forum. Gerry Kiffe from The Theosophical Community wrote a few days back in the most friendly terms and suggested that I joined the Theosophy Nexus Forum. I sought to do that - but I was told by an unnamed person calling himsefl (hersefl) Paracelsus, that I am not welcomed at the forum - and I was suggested to participate at the Esoteric Online Forum.
I wonder who is behind this forum and why they do not clearly state - who they allow to join and who they do not?
