mkr,

Gee, it sems like G.R.S. M ead had also discovered that and widely publisized it in his book "Did Jeseus live 100 B.C." which was published in 1903; Being an inquiry into the Talmud Jesus stories, the Toldoth Jeschu, and some curious statements of Epiphanius---Being a contribution to the tudy of Christian Origins, 440 pages. Perhaps she read his book.

I've always valued the clarity with which she wrote about philosophy, so I don't mean to pick on her, but Annie Besant wrote that she had discovered, as a result of occult research, that Jesus was born in 105 B. C. I recall reading an explanation of clairvoyance, by H. P. B. to A. B., I think, as it being indistinguishable from imagination, in which case there's no necessary correlation between it and objective truth.
