Dear Bro. Betty Bland:
As a theosophist, I want to convey my personal thanks for your taking up the
awesome responsibility of leading the American Section for the past several
years. The personal and financial sacrifices you made at a time when it is
very hard to find unpaid volunteers, and your agreeing to serve as the
National President as an unpaid volunteer even when some of your
predecessors were on the payroll of TS in America is highly commendable.
Many may not agree with many of your decisions and actions during your
tenure. But no one should have any doubt that you did the best you can for
TS and theosophy. And for this every theosophist should be grateful to you.
I am reminded of the famous statement of one of our Inner Founders -
âIngratitude is not among our vices.â
You are still young and we all expect you to be active for years to come in
helping to spread theosophy and TS in its work. Our paths are sure to cross
and we will have a lot of opportunities in the future to work together in
the best interests of theosophy and TS.
I wish you a long, healthy, happy and productive life in the years to come.
Fraternally yours,
M K Ramadoss
