Three type Classification of human constitution

In a news items today, scientists are saying that bacteria divide people
into 3 types.

For ages in India, the native Ayurveda system classified people in three
categories and understanding of the type is necessary to administer proper
treatment to the individual. This again points out the fact that there were
people in the days of old who knew lot more about human constitution than we

Ayurvedic classification:


According to Ayurveda, the first requirement for healing oneself and others
is a clear understanding of the three doshas. The concept of
Vata-Pitta-Kapha is unique to Ayurveda and it holds the potential for
revolutionizing th healing systems of the West. However, the concept of the
three principles and the Sanskrit words, Vata-Pitta-Kapha, are very
difficult to translate into Western terms.
