Re: theos-talk Transparency of the Trust handling TSA assets

I ran into a very interesting letter from a life time member of TSA, which
talks about TSA and TIT.

The author of the letter states:

"Why even send out annual dues statements? Olcott certainly doesnât need
your money. The TSA investment board has plenty of money. The Theosophical
Investment Trust board is totally in the hands of the TSA politicians, those
leaders we have elected to serve.

And the elections we hold to select these leaders who serve the Theosophical
Society have become pretty cut and dry, havenât they?"

It looks like the non response of the Trust to provide me with the
information about its setup, operation, appointment of trustees etc could be
explained by the mindset reflected in the above observation.

The current disclosure situation with exempt organizations has changed and
the big brother with the big stick is there to help you and me, ordinary
folks who pay our yearly taxes.

I am still waiting for a response for my request and I hope there will not
be any need to get help from our big brother to nudge the bureaucrats to
act.
