Better is to use solid state memory capable tools, USB sticks are solid state
media and there are also harddrives (expensive). They can be safeguarded in
Faraday cages against electromagnetic pulses...in fact most government stuff is
already stored like this. It simply depends on the safeguards how much is given
to the public...
But best of course is to understand Akasha, since you can read all there when
needed...

Not only physical death of the owners but also any disasters, including those of
electronic nature. (For example, year ago fire destroyed hosting center in
Ukraine which hosted the main Russian theosophical forum).
I think that we need to use as a safeguard already existing off-line structures,
for example lodges. Archived copies on CDs should be kept in the libraries of
theosophical lodges and sections along with the usual books.
