OT - Transferring large files

>From time to time there is a need to either transfer large files or
distribute large files to many individuals. Every email program has limits
on the size of the file attachment.

Now there is a neat solution. There is a product called Pogoplug to which
upto 4 external hard drives can be attached. Once this is hooked up to
Internet, the files on the attached hard drive(s) can be accessed from
anywhere there is Internet connection. Since access can be controlled at
folder level, you can limit who can access the file. Also, users can send
large files to the hard drive, even though I have not yet looked into any
limits to it. The product is like a Cloud device under your control.

I have been using this device for some time and is very pleased with what it
does. There is no recurring cost involved in using the device.
