Why only this individual or that? Every great Advaita master including Ramana Maharshi has pointed to the pitfalls of meditation though it may have some use in the initial stage in curbing the loss of energy due to promiscuous thinking. One is encouraged soon to enquire 'who is the meditator?' rather than be stuck to some practice for a lifetime. It is here that one can see Krishnamuri's greatness in going directly to the central issue rather than dilly dally around. Unfortunately the many imposters and pseudo masters cannot accept their loss of importance that is inevitable when people start to directly address the issue. Hence their name calling of such teachings as pseudo advaita, not suitable for all and so on. We can only offer them our sympathies for their ingenious gimmicks at self preservation and move on.
