Biblical Archaeology,

Typically, this subject doesn't interest me much, as a research project a/b I watched a show the other day - until, eventually, I got tired of hearing about all 666 this/that and gended up a bit curious I guess.

So, I pulled out the Bible, they stock here at the hotel, and took a look at book 6 (Joshua), chapter 6, verse 6 - looks to me to be about Jericho. Other than that I wondered if those 7 trumpets were places like Qumran, at any rate (and just like the metaphor of good a measuring stick) I ending up thinking that Jordan must have as yet some serious archaeology to unearth.
