 There was a time, years ago, when I considered creating a secret group in the TS which would act to counter the ES and be a black magick study group, just for the good, nasty fun of it. But I just never quite got around to it.

This problems within ES  in the USA at that time was at the root of

Besant's letter were mentioned above.  Some of the details are in the recent

book on Krotona by Ross.
