This is not a fact but just an assumption, and most probably the incorrect one. According to the available statistic data (below) India is only on the 20th place concerning the number of the TS members in country's total population, while the membership recruitment in respective Sections can be to some extend discerned from the percentage of members eligible to vote, meaning that relatively low percentage of these members is due to the inflow of new members in the Section. And if we examine this percentage in listed Sections we can see that India's percentage is 72.80, meaning that 27.20 % of its total membership probably joined in last two years before the elections. This percentage is much higher in Wales - 55.40, Cuba - 48.30, Uruguay - 46.90, Portugal - 50.80, New Zealand - 50.70, and so on. But also this data do not reflect the exact situation which can be obtained only out of membership statistics in the Annual Reports. Unfortunately, till now I wasn't able to gain and elaborate these reports, and I would be really thankful to anyone who is willing to send me these data.
