Hmmm,
5.5 meters is only 18.31 feet high. How can there be three tiered levels carrying traffic in this small height? I don't thiiiiiiiiiiiiiink soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Besides all the hot links that were posted do not work. I recall some one a few months back posted here about an expressway that was to be built that would run parellel to Adyar bewteen them and the river. But they will need to shorten man and redesign cars to get all that in 18.3 feet height.

I must confess that I'm having a hard time not laughing. After all the
fuss on this list about the repairs the buildings need, now we hear they are
going to be under a highway!
