I have my own read on the current situation in the Theosophical Movement.
Firstly we do not have any charismatic real leaders who can lead. We may
have many highly educated intellectuals (many are quit old, reminding our
grandpas and grandmas) who are not seen as leaders even though perhaps in
their egoistic minds they may be imagining they are the rescuers of TM. The
TM got a real hit when the election nomination and subsequent allegations
and the final secret coup attempt took place.
Any potential member who reads about all of these would be simply shocked
and perhaps confused too. In addition, we have not seen any dramatic
creative and innovative ideas to restore the credibility of the leaders.
When these kind of causes are at work, what do you expect? A highly vibrant
and growing TM?
When the emperor has no clothes, we have not found a kid yet who will call
the bluff.
