I too don't have an interest in who is steering the boat
and who is pulling the oars - my main concern is that
the political issues are a diversion from the core teachings
of HPB.
A newcomer would quickly unsubscribe as politics is the
last thing they would have imagined theosophy was
concerned with.
As I have said earlier as far as I can see the wise old fat lady
has been singing for quite a while - but this time she is on the
deck of the titanic.

I have to strongly disagree, being mentioned along with Joy and John. I am
too far away from that high level.
I am simply a messenger and an ordinary member. (Never held any position in
TS admin and nor planning to.) My only contribution is to post some messages
on theos-talk. I would say Katinka should be included in the list since she
has contributed a lot in cyberspace over the years giving a good feedback on
the various issues and providing valuable reference material.
