Morten,

I meant it when I said that you have an investigating attitude. I admire it.

I don't promote anybody's unethical behaviour. I think unethical behaviour should not be made secret like CWL's behaviour has wrongly been made secret earlier, but I don't want to keep repeating other people's sins. Let us feel compassion also towards CWL.

It holds true that you wrote also about other issues besides CWL. I myself wanted to emphasize him.

My view is similar to what Katinka wrote that teachings and a teacher are different things. I believe CWL made up some things, but sometimes he spoke true.

Btw. one friend of mine explained that errors in CWL's books are due to his ghost writers. For example, we do know that Ernest Wood wrote half of the classic book "The Masters and the Path". In this book there are famous untrue statements like CWL's being in Hyde Park in 1851. But CWL read everything which was put under his name, so this explanation is not valid.

I recommend books by CWL to newbies because they are much easier to read than HPB. Truth-seekers can then later read HPB.

I agree with you that there have happened big changes in the TS during the years that you mention, but I am not ready to discuss them at this moment. They are too big and abstract questions now as we are dealing with rules, dates and mails. They can be discussed in other context. The Adyar TS has not been honest with its history. I believe like you and Daniel and many others that the so called second generation watered down some deep original theosophical teachings. Maybe it was work by the Dark Brotherhood. When there is light, the darkness gathers its forces, and vice versa.

About UFOs. N. Sri Ram wrote about them in the 1950s and 60s ? I have read articles, but I don't remember their contents. Theosophists usually concentrate on human life and self-knowledge ? why to think too much of humanoids? I have an understanding that often Theosophists think that UFOs and humanoids are just astral phenomena.

Sampsa
