Re: Theos-World Re: HPB-- Faker or one with real occult power or both

Actually Daniel, the substance of what I said, is from a theosophy source I read
somewhere long ago..
Lead sentence from one of the Masters was, to effect of,
We have known humans far longer than you and we know what we are doing.
The Master said, and I am parapharsing after many years,
We allow the fake stories, the story about HPB doing fakery, because we know humans more that you.
We allow these stories, to save HPB's life.
This is the substance of what one of the Masters said to someone.
It makes sense to me.

Henry,
Interesting comments.
But another alternative is that HPB performed genuine
paranormal phenomena, no fakery at all.
Because if one contends well she probably did some genuine
phenomena but then again she may have faked others, the question
then must be posed: how does one determine which incidents were
faked and which incidents were genuine?? What are the criteria for
doing that? How does one do that? By flipping a coin? Or...
But I suggest that if she faked some of them, why not all of them?
And if she faked appearances of her Masters, who would be foolish
enough to believe that these Masters actually exist?
The problem is that most readers and inquirers never study and
research the subject in any depth and therefore most of the
discussions on this at least in this forum over the years has been
pretty superficial.
