Christina,
Thanks for clearing that up. It is a good idea, when you post to the
list, to differentiate between things you write that are original to
you, and things that come from another source. It is pretty shocking
to read something so dark that seems as if it comes from a member of
the list.
Indeed it is a good thing to be aware of what is happening, what is
being said. But it is also good to point out how this fits into
theosophy. Think of the many, possibly hundreds or more, people who
read this list and never post. Young people, students, people who are
touching theosophy for the first time, most of whom don't feel they
know enough or are comfortable enough discussing these issues to post
in public. "Don't we owe it to them to be clear about what we are
saying and to give them a fair representation of what theosophy is
all about?
