Dear Fellow Students,
Alexandria West Academy will be broadcasting live, a Secret Doctrine
Seminar Saturday, January 17th at about 1 pm, Pacific Standard time.
The broadcast will be through Pal Talk. If you live on the East Coast:
add 3 hours (4 pm). If in England: Add 8 hours (9 pm). France and
Italy: add 9 hours (10 pm). Greece: Add 10 hours (11 pm).
The topic for this seminar will be Stanza III, and the entire
program will run for about 4 hours.
Though these quarterly held seminars have been ongoing for over 10
years, this is the first time we have attempted to broadcast them. Pal
Talk allows two way communication so that remote listeners will be able
to ask questions and make comments at designated times during the
session. The broadcast room will be opened about 30 minutes in advance
of the seminar for open-microphone questions, introductions and
discussions.
How to participate:
In order to participate, you must:
1. Download pal talk from: http://www.paltalk.com/ The download and
participation are free. Pal talk is now also compatible with Macs and
Unix.
2. Once you download pal talk and go online, you will be asked to
register a screen name. You will need this in order to enter the rooms.
3. Once you are registered, go to "Browse Chat Rooms" Click under chat
room groups "Religion and Spirituality." Then click the sub-group
Spirituality. If the chat room is open, it will come up in the listing
as "Alexandria West Academy." If it is not open, you can still find it
by using the search box at the top of the screen. Type in the key work:
"Perennialsim" and the listing will come up. Click on it, and the
closed room will come up.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Jerry
