Re: [theos-l] TS - Current Condition - Comments by a well-known member

I suppose that I am one supposedly involved in the "secrecy in the
GC." That certainly makes me scratch my head. I can only shake my
head in wonder at the curious antics, emotive language and lack of
any real and deep understanding of brotherhood expressed at times on
this website. I early came to the conclusion that the site does allow
some people to let off steam about their concerns. However, much of
it is shadow boxing and the seeing all sorts of hidden motivations of
others which are in truth without substantial foundation.

I, like all other GC members and other responsible TS leaders, do not
try to enter discussion at this level. I am doing so this once - once
only - to express as a total newcomer to the General Council, coming
without any baggage, my disappointment at the negative level of
responsible discussion, the over emotive language often used and the
agenda driven nature of the 'discussion.'

Some correspondents will be starting to jump up and down and howl at
what I am saying. So be it. That only goes to support my
observations.

What many of these correspondents (who are actually few in number but
who dominate the site)do reveal to the discerning and objective
observer is their own inner condition.

Correspondents wonder why the mysterious GC 'leaders' do not respond.
The answer stares any discerning observer in the face. It simply is
not worth attempting to communincate with such correspondents who
have a disarming habit of not really listening, show little
discernment and pick and choose their responses.

I am disappointed and sad to be led to say these things, but I felt
that I should express my disappointment and concern at the lack of
reasonable discourse at times and the one-eyed attitudes expressed by
Theosophists on this site.

I am expressing this sad disappointment once only and do not not
intent to enter into unproductive and negative dialogue. I would
earnestly request those concerned, they know who they are,
to 'listen' with the ear of inner discernment. Your further actions
will clearly define how well you listened.
