This gene splicing is old news, an ancient practice in fact. Witness 
the monkey & elephant-headed gods of the hindus. 

There is also a well-founded theory extant that the human race itself 
is the result of genetic experimentation by extra-terrestrials and 
evolution doesnt have anything to do with what we find ourselves as 
today. Take Bush for instance, does he not have a distinctly simian 
look about him?

I dont see where anything that the scientists come up with today vis-a-
vis animal+human embryos can be any worse, and may even be a decided 
improvement over what is currently seen walking around and talking on 
podiums.
