I think William, Katinka, Erica, Pedro, Anand and others have written 
very well.

Bland clearly doesn't want to see the point. She repeats talking 
about democracy and fear of changes just like Algeo did earlier. It 
is pathetic!

Algeo, Bland, Kim-Dieu and Kuiper, please understand that the point 
in criticism against you is the lack of openness in your actions. You 
didn't act properly towards the membership as you didn't talk with 
the members beforehand. That is the old way, which will destroy the 
Society if it continues. Please don't live in your small circles of 
power. Start respecting ordinary members and the International 
President. Make yourselves familiar with Indian members, too, like 
John Coats did. Solve the problems in India and Adyar. It is you 
yourselves who elect some Executive Committee members, so elect the 
good ones.

The US and the Netherlands are doing something wrong if the 
membership has radically dropped. The General Secretaries in these 
countries should concentrate on openness, it will help! Don't you 
understand that there are a LOT of frustrated members who are sick of 
this secrecy and of people "who know everything"?
