As we are a million light years away from Krishna, I believe that it is only through our senses that we can understand the particulars enabling us at some point in the future to address the universals.

Yes.
But we have as theosophists always to be aware of that using the Internet
and our ordinary 5 senses in the end just simply will deteriorate the mind
or lead no where.

Let us always keep the focus on that Avatar principle within the spiritual
heart which energies flows up and thorugh the head to the benefit of the
universe.

The Avatar Krishna said:
"That way- the highest way- goes he who shuts
The gates of all his senses, locks desire
Safe in his heart, centres the vital airs
Upon his parting thought, steadfastly set;
And, murmuring OM, the sacred syllable-
Emblem of BRAHM- dies, meditating Me.
For who, none other Gods regarding, looks
Ever to Me, easily am I gained
By such a Yogi; and, attaining Me,
They fall not- those Mahatmas- back to birth,
To life, which is the place of pain, which ends,
But take the way of utmost blessedness. "

Subject: Theos-World Internet and TS

For over a decade, I have been repeatedly writing about the huge opportunity
that Internet presents for TS and Theosophy. The most elementary and easiest
and most extensively used application is e-mail. (Even people who do not own
a computer and Internet, use e-mail from public libraries.) This can and
should be very effectively and inexpensively used for communication between
organizations and their members around the world.

The indications based on the crumbs we have seen during electioneering for
the International President shows that many of the top elite around the
world are extensively using e-mail for multi-way communication between
themselves. But the same has not happened between the organizations and the
membership. Organizations are still clinging to the print media, and the
communication is one way and news items which are too late are old news.

Since most of the leadership are quite old, we can understand their not
being able to fully comprehend the immense opportunity that Internet has
presented itself to the world, which includes TS. If they do not wake up
soon, we may have to wait until they are replaced by the current generation
which has grown up with computers and Internet, which may take several
decades since all the systems have been fine tuned so younger leadership
cannot quickly move up. This will be a great missed opportunity.

Here are a few quotes from a recent news article:

- Robinson is now 106 - that's 35 years older than McCain - and she began
using the Internet at 98, at the Barclay Friends home in West Chester, Pa.,
where she lives. "I started to learn because I wanted to e-mail my family,"
she says - in an e-mail message, naturally.

- Why do most of us - 73 percent of Americans - use the Internet? The top
three reasons are, in order, e-mail, informational searches, and finding a
map or driving directions.
