I would think that giving Krishnamurti credit for two world wars is perhaps overstating his importance just a little bit.

You confound the cause and the effect.
Krishnamurti didn't gain a seriuos influence upto 1914, as he just 
began, but the two world wars in large extent ruined that what 
the Theosophical Society tried to build.
