Parametered dialog

[Dear Pedro, just following you from theos-l to theos-world with this second
trial to conduct a structured dialog, which parameters can be changed of
course.]

Carol Stream, May 7, 2008

Dear Brother Pedro Oliveira,

Thank you kindly for addressing me peronally and taking the time to reply to
my question.

Thank you also for contributing some of the necessary tools to understand
the issues we're debating here by providing primary sources and a timeline.

I propose, and if accepted will commit my time and mind, to conduct a
dialogue with you regarding the appropriateness of the letters that have
been circulating regarding Radha's health.

This would imply that during the dialogue the issue itself of Radha's health
is suspended and that the primary focus is on the integrity of the election
process.

Also suspended, but mutually ackowledged, would be our personal preference
in this election. You seem to prefer Radha Burnier, I prefer John Algeo. And
I assume we both prefer a fair election and a strengthening of the TS.

My aim here is clarification, resolution and lessons to be drawn for the
future.

I hope you can accept these parameters as a fair basis for a fruitful
dialogue and experiment in open communication on procedural issues. I think
we can thoughtfully work our way through this and come to an intelligent
understanding, even if we might disagree respectfully on some points.

Yours Sincerely

Govert Schuller, FTS for life
