I just read the following article...
Maybe there are progress going on at the Catholic Church although it seem to be very slow.
It appears that women are able to to perform like males in the Catohlic Church. 

Yet they still have to fear being excommunicated by the infallibility of a Pope!

I could ask:
Are the various branches of Theosophical Societies influenced by the various cultural and religious backgrounds - and - are there only very few women compared to males at the higher levels within the organisation of Boards and Commitee's?
