Raquel,
Hi, nice to hear your love of the flute, a very ancient instrument. I want to take this opportunity to give a link on Music and a recent Scientific announcement. Scientists are claiming new findings on the Geometry of Music :

To become the instrument oneself of That, which is everywhere, looking for a channel to crystalize.
Nevertheless at this time of my life I've got to the conclusion, that both, intuition an study are necessary. Discipline in practice on scales will give the musician the opportunity for improvisation.
Myself, both a gifted and frustrated flute player, how often I have seen a beautiful melody using my being to expres itself becoming trunked by the clumsiness of my fingers.
Also the didactics inherit in the extremely boring practice of scales, led oneself to a good rapport of self personal unattachment very beneficial for further improvisation.
My English is so awful, I don´t know if I´m expressing myself correctly.
I believe there are times for improvisation, there are times for deep study and these both are absolutely personal and everyone should find their own moment to make an equilibrium between them. There both should be joyful.
I love both Theosophy and Music.
Might live be joyful to all beings
Best regards
Raquel

Nice one Raquel!
This what Theosophy should be about, mu till you get
sic of it :-)
What's the need for knowledge, Akasha is full of it,
better fill the head with Akasha instead of
books...and then concentrate on music, its the
universal language both dis- and harmonic. That's what
Nature is about isn't it? Harmony! Balance! The middle
way between extremes not the razorblade...unless you
want to become a buddha in 5 minutes.
