Dear Bill

In your posting to Perry you write, "?theosophy is not in competition
with Christianity?"

Whether or not there is "competition" I would suggest depends upon 
the perception and motivation of the individual.

However, orthodox Christian dogma and traditions are most definitely 
in direct opposition to theosophy. Even some forms of so-
called "esoteric" Christianity maintain rituals, processes and 
hierarchical systems anathema to it.
