mkr,
It seems in my personal view to be perhaps both a "Server" and "Browser" problem in concert together. I am using Internet Expl;orer and am in the USA and encountered no problems whatsoever. The access to the pages was rapid and efficient for both the Google Books Search and the other paths using the hotlinks. I have seen the people using Firefox have problems to access webpages not only on this forum but other people on other Forums complain similiarly who use Firefox.

The work being done by google by digitizing books is very useful and very
valuable to all of us. All of them can be accessed - some fully and others
partially and some just the tiltle. Many of the fully accessible ones are
downloadable in pdf format and can be printed on a local printer if need be.
One issue that seems to come up is the problem of downloading/accessing them
from European countries. I am wondering if some access restriction in place
for access from overseas.
I recommend everyone to visit www.books.google.com and search titles and get
a feel for themselves.
