I'm in an international gathering, and today there were four short 
lectures, on the subject "What is truly theosophical service?"
The lecturers were not very especially prominent members, and they 
were from Australia, India, U.K., and US.
Here are some statistics:

Out of the four lectures:

- in 3 of them there were quotations from HPB's writings.
- in 2 from Krishnamurti's
- in 2 from Sri Ram's
- in 1 from Annie Besant's
- in 1 from Radha Burnier's
- in 0 from Leadebeater's

The number of quotations was:

HPB's: 6
Krishnamurti: 2
Sri Ram: 2
Annie Besant: 2
Radha Burnier: 1

You will notice the subject was not especially connected with HPB's 
teachings.

I think this is a fairly good statistic, taken "at random", and it 
certainly reflects what would happened in my country, Argentina, and 
what I saw even in Adyar.
