I agree with master KH.
Let me see how a little and perhaps childish common example.
People who come to your home, being even a friend of yours, and looking at
a plant or staring at a pet and suddenly , ploof, after he´s gone, the plant
or the pet gets ill or dies.
It´s a kind of magic, it´s an evil effect of energies unsciously we amanate.
Some call it evil-eye.
I believe that it is in this sense that bother HPB and KH was referrring to.
Tendencys that we bring from other past lives.
May not have support in many theo. literature but our day-to-day life shows
us.

Subject: Theos-World Is THIS more "Pure dugpa BS!" in THE PATH????????
Is THIS more "Pure dugpa BS!" in THE PATH??????
Jake wrote on Theos-Talk last autumn the following:
======================================
I'm seeing more that this whole [KH]
"letter" is hokey. The pseudo-teacher
says that "each of us has a dugpa inside
of us." WE DO NOT! This is not
supported anywhere in the literature.
We have a high and low self, and the
low self is not a "dugpa"! Here's the
supposed teacher quote, according to
ver Planck:
"Judge the action, not the person. You
never know the true motives. Never
judge human nature on its lowest level.
Every one has a potential Dugpa in him."
Pure dugpa BS!
======================================
Some time ago, I started re-reading Volume IV of THE PATH, and
here is what I found.
On page 142 of the August, 1889 issue of THE PATH,
one sees towards the top of the page this heading:
ABOUT BLACK AND WHITE MAGICIANS.
This is followed by a question:
"How is one to recognize a black magician, and how to treat such an
one?"
Then four paragraphs answer the question and the answer is signed:
HADJI ERINN.
Isn't HADJI ERINN one of William Judge's pen names???
Now the first sentence of the first paragraph of the answer reads:
"It has been well said by H.P. Blavatsky that 'each one has a
potential black magician within.' "
!!!!!!!
Is the above discovery MORE "Pure dugpa BS!" in THE PATH????
Compare and contrast this sentence with what Julia and Jake wrote.
First Julia in her July 1889 PATH article.
On the second page (p. 98) of this lead article, Julia writes:
"What is our present Duty? Hear the words of the Master. 'Judge
the action, not the person. You never know the true motives. Never
judge human nature on its lowest level. Every one has a potential
Dugpa in him.' "
Julia adds a footnote to this quote:
"Dugpa, black magician; one devoted wholly to self. This [quotation
above] and other quotations [later in this same article] are from
the private letters of the Adept."
Now Jake's comments:
