Chuck,
30 years ago they didn't have nuclear. I was there with Westinghouse Corp to discuss with the Chinese an upgrade of their power system. The Wesinghouse Engineer told me that their equipment was so primitive that a new installation would blow every power pole to Mars!
My point is that what I thought was an act of kindness to another human being resulted in an act of violence towards that person.
A terrorist Muslim would kill a theosophist as quickly as he would kill anyone he/she considers an infidel.

was in China 30 years ago and outside Tian A Min square was a poor
dishevelled soul. I walked up to him and gave him 50 hong kong dollars, for which he

guards carting him off for what I believe was taking money from foreigners. To
this day I regret having tried to help him as I feel sure that he would have
been thrown into some dark dingy prison.

I never ceased to be amazed at people who think we can influence parts of
the world that can only be persuaded by nuclear weapons.
Or are folks really stupid enough to think that Muslims are going to change
their culture because a handful of Theosophists don't approve of it?
