We didn't have the technology to convert hydrogen for a water driven car, perhaps it is the technology that is screwed not the technologists.
Where did the steel come from, obviously they were aware of how to smelt iron,copper,etc.
As far as I can see science is existing in a vacuum, a vacuum of incorrect premises.
