There is a profound difference between ignoring real evidence, like having  a 
rock drop on your head, and making up nonsense about alien DNA when we have 
no  samples of alien DNA to make a comparison to.
 
Unless of course the space people were kind enough to land by the  laboratory 
and provide a sample and no one knew about it.
