Recently I visited with a Indian friend of mine who spent several years in
former USSR. One of the things we discussed was the experience in the USSR
and later experience in England.
My friend told me that the Russians were very direct in their communication
and the England experience of what is mentioned in one of the ML to APS as
"polished insincerity".
I suspect HPB may have inherited the Russian quality of directness in her
dealings with people. Just wanted to share.
